How To Get Here
Sunshine Bay Resort is located on Sedall Island which is just off of beautiful Vancouver
Island. We're a one hour water taxi ride from Port Alberni or a 40 minute flight
out of Vancouver Regional Airport.
Driving
If you're driving here, take B.C.
Ferries from Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver, B.C.) to Departure Bay (Nanaimo,
B.C.). You can find up-to-date schedule information at http://www.bcferries.com. Please note that reservations
are highly recommended.
From Nanaimo, drive north up the Island Highway to Port Alberni (approx. one hour
driving time).
Once in Port Alberni, take a one hour (27 mile) Empress Water Taxi ride to Sunshine Bay Resort's front door. Contact us first
so that we can arrange things with Empress
Water Taxi.

Flying here is very convenient: there are direct float plane flights via Harbour
Air from Richmond South Terminal (Vancouver International Airport) direct to Sunshine
Bay Resort's dock (40 minute flight). You can find up-to-date schedule information online at http://www.harbour-air.com. You can now even book your flight
